STEPHEN HALLECK, Music Pastor
Pastor Stephen Halleck and His wife, Liz, were called to Grace Baptist in July of 2017. Stephen spent most of his childhood in Chesapeake, VA, where his father still serves the assistant pastor at Great Hope Baptist Church. Born to a ministry family, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of four. From his early years Pastor Stephen has been involved in church and school music. Since completing his B.S. in music education, he has taught music in Christian schools and served in church ministry full time.
Liz was raised in Pennsylvania where her dad is a Christian school administrator. She was saved at the age of 15 during a week of evangelistic meetings at her church. She always has loved singing for God in church. Liz has a degree in general administrative office skills which has led to positions ranging from international trade to government contracting. She is working at HHCS as the financial secretary and administrative assistance while also coaching the girls’ volleyball and basketball teams for Heritage Hall.
Stephen and Liz were married in 2006. They have three daughters, Grace, Reagan, and Sophie. Together they hope to continue a vibrant and God-honoring music program here at GBC.
