DAVID WARREN, Associate Pastor

David Warren is an accomplished pianist, music arranger and instructor. Reared under the ministry of Dr. Arno Q. Weniger Sr. at Hamilton Square Baptist Church, San Francisco, at age 4 he trusted Christ for salvation. Shortly after, his father—the church choir director—began teaching him piano. Pastor Dave became involved in church music a few years later, playing first for the youngest Sunday school classes, then children’s church, and, eventually, the main services.
He received a B.S. from Maranatha Baptist Bible College (’79) and an M.A. in Sacred Music (’84) from Bob Jones University. Pastor Dave married Dondeena Camp in 1986 and later assisted her father, Dr. Don Camp, in full-time evangelism.
In the fall of 1998, he answered the call of God to full-time pastoral ministry, becoming the founding pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Anderson, Ind., where he served until March 2009. He was ordained in 2000, and has served on the board of trustees of the Indiana Fundamental Baptist Fellowship.
Having served as GBC’s music pastor for three years, Pastor Dave became Associate Pastor in September 2014.
