FREQUENTLY-ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you have nurseries?
Loving nursery care—well-equipped and securely-staffed—is provided for infants and toddlers during each service.
What if I need a ride?
If you live in our local area, our bus ministry team would be glad to come by and pick you up. Just contact us here online or give us a call at (765) 288-9569.
Are your buildings and services wheelchair-accessible?
Yes, our auditorium, fellowship hall, and most of our classrooms are accessible from one level. Disability parking spaces are located along the front of the main auditorium building. Services are interpreted for people with hearing loss.
What happens when I get there?
You’re welcome to drop off family members underneath the canopy and park in the paved lot. Our greeters will meet you, and direct you to the appropriate class(es) or to the main auditorium.
What do I do before the service begins?
In the lobby you will find most people talking, finishing their coffee, or browsing the Information Center. In the auditorium there are no reserved pews, so you may sit anywhere you would like. While music plays, people will be greeting one another, reading through the weekly bulletin, or preparing their hearts for the service.
What are the services like?
A typical worship service begins with a congregational song. Our music pastor announces a number in the hymnal so you can find the words which also will be projected onto screens. A free-will offering is taken, and there are music specials by the choir, as well as a soloist or ensemble. At the heart of each service, our pastor brings a Bible message. Services generally last about an hour and 15 minutes.
What are the pastor’s messages like?
Our pastor preaches directly from the Bible. Usually messages last 30 or 40 minutes. You’ll hear a teaching style of preaching that presents God’s Word in a clear, helpful way.
What small groups or classes are offered on Sunday?
Classes are available for all ages, with Sunday School (kids and teens) and Adult Bible Fellowship starting at 9:15a each week. Our greeters will take you directly to the class you choose to attend, and make sure that your children or teens find their classrooms, as well. You and your family will enjoy fellowship, encouragement, and practical Bible-focused instruction.
What happens after the service?
Pastor Rory and his wife Amy would love to meet you in the lobby, and get to know you and your family better. They’ll have a gift for you, as well. Also, be sure to stop by the Information Center if you have a question or need.
