RORY BOND, Senior Pastor
In June 2011 Grace Baptist Church voted to call Rory Bond as our senior pastor upon the retirement of Pastor Collins Glenn on February 5, 2012. Pastor Rory began here as youth pastor in August 1997, and served in adult ministries beginning in August 2007.
A 1991 graduate of Bob Jones University, he served for the next six years at his home church, Faith Baptist Church, Pekin, Ill., before coming to Muncie. Pastor Rory is looking forward with anticipation to see what God will do through the dedicated staff and people in this new era at Grace Baptist.
His other ministry opportunities have included mission trips abroad, speaking at Bible camps, and teaching Youth Work and Camp Work at the Slavic Baptist Institute in the Ukraine. Pastor Rory also is a Special Deputy with the Delaware County Sheriff’s office, having served as a chaplain since 2003. He and his wife Amy have five children.
