The world in which we live often times leaves people with more questions than answers concerning the really important issues of life.  Many people wait until their problem becomes so large that they feel no one can help them.  At Grace Baptist Church, we believe the Bible has the answers to all of life's difficulties.  That is why we offer a counseling service free of charge to people from our community (members and non-members) who truly want to know what the Bible has to say about how to solve some of life's most challenging problems that they may be facing. 

Whether the problem is with a marriage that seems to be disintegrating, how to rear children God's way, or dealing with a life-dominating habit that has serious consequences and seeks to tear your world apart, God's Word has the answers you are looking for to solve these and many other problems that face us every day. There is hope!  There is an answer.  There is someone that cares and is willing to help.

Biblical Counseling is not psychotherapy.  In fact, it has nothing to do with man's philosophy or the self-help "pop-psychology" that is so prevalent in our world today.  Our staff have counseled literally hundreds of people through the years and have been able to give real Bible solutions to real life issues that real people are going through on a daily basis.

Biblical counseling will give everyone the answers they need but, admittedly, it is not for everyone.  Counselees are required to attend church at Grace Baptist at least once a week.  We have found that the preaching of God's Word from the pulpit only reinforces what has been stated in the counseling session.  Counselees are required to complete any homework assignment that has been given.  Biblical counseling that is discussed but never practiced is worthless.  Also, counselees must commit themselves to true Biblical change.  You will not find mere suggestions coming from the counseling sessions.  Rather, the Bible promises that not only those who hear the Word of God, but those that do the Word of God will experience the blessing of God in their life.
