Grace Baptist Church Children’s Ministries 

Grace Baptist Church believes strongly in helping parents build strong families for the glory of Christ.  In order to accomplish that goal, we have put in place various ministries that seek to reach out into our community in order to present Christ to children of all ages. 

Children's Sunday School--  9:15-10:15 AM

Classes are offered for each age from 2 years old through the 6^th grade.  Our teachers love to teach the Bible and have been doing it for many years.  Class time is fun and exciting and each teacher makes the Bible come alive for their students.   

Children's Church Program--  10:30 AM-12:00 PM  

After Sunday School, the children go into a church service designed specifically for them.  Complete with singing, game and quiz time, and a Bible lesson on their age level, the Children's Church hour is packed with excitement and challenging Bible truth. 

Truth Tracker's Program-- Wednesdays from 6:45-8:00 PM   

Truth Trackers is a “club” program for children ages 4 years old through the 6^th grade.  Verse memorization is emphasized along with a development in Christian character.  Classes are divided into:  Tiny Trackers (4-5 year olds), Scripture Spies (1^st-3^rd grades), and Faith Force (4^th-6^th grades).  Mr. Aaron Whisler leads our Truth Tracker's program.  For more information, call the church office.  Bus pickup is available. Sunday Evening Children's Class--  Dismissed from the main service as the choir goes to their seats.

For parents who come to church on Sunday evening we offer a class just for the “little ones” (ages 4-8 years old).  So don’t let “the kids are too tired to go to church” stop you from coming.  We have a program that will keep them busy and teach them the Bible every Sunday night! 

Vacation Bible School

What would summer be like without Vacation Bible School?!?  Held for one week, Monday through Friday from 6:00-8:15 PM, this is the largest and most concentrated child evangelism program that Grace Baptist Church offers for the entire year.  Boys and girls come for a week of intensive memory work, Bible lessons, skits, and of course—FUNTIME!  Each student earns tickets for bringing friends, reciting Bible verses, and winning other contests and promotions.  They then take the tickets to Funtime in the church gymnasium where they spend them on ice cream, sno-cones, cotton candy, challenging skill games, and huge inflatables!  Don’t miss out on all of the fun and excitement! 

Junior Camp Ministry

Grace Baptist Church operates their own Junior Camp for grades 1^st-6^th each summer.  Approximately 100 campers and staff have been renting Camp Assurance in Georgetown, IL for the past 6 years.  A full camp schedule, swimming pool, horseback riding, and solid Bible preaching and teaching make for the best time of any young camper’s life.  Brochures may be picked up from the church office beginning in May.  The dates for next year’s Junior Camp are August 3-7 2009.
